The main fabrics used for parent-child outfits include pure cotton and cotton blends. Judging the quality of the fabric can be done by considering its weave, texture, weight, feel, and ease of wearing and washing.

Fabrics for Parent-Child Outfits:

Pure Cotton Fabric: Has a good feel, strong moisture absorption, is easy to dye, wrinkles easily, and shrinks easily. It comes in regular yarn, semi-worn yarn, and worsted yarn, with worsted yarn having a cleaner surface and a softer feel.

Merced Cotton Fabric: Made from cotton through a special process, this high-quality knitted fabric retains the natural characteristics of cotton, has a silky luster, a soft feel, is moisture-wicking and breathable, and has excellent elasticity and drape.

Double Mercerized Cotton Fabric: Made from mercerized yarn that has undergone singeing and mercerizing treatments, this fabric has a clear texture, a bright luster, and a smooth feel.

Polyester-Cotton Fabric: Soft and thick to the touch, not easily dyed, and less comfortable against the skin than pure cotton. It is typically a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton.

Cotton fabrics with added spandex: offer elasticity and comfort, and significantly improve the fabric's physical properties.
