Expressing heartfelt emotions through weaving lucky symbols. The dream of concentric circles, like lucky clover, takes root and sprouts, conveying feelings of shared connection. By shouting to the sky and confiding in the clouds, we spread our inner feelings far and wide, hoping everyone can feel this connection.
In the process of making this piece, we used thick Korean cotton yarn, paired with size 8 bamboo needles, and size 9 bamboo needles for the neckline. The yarn, purchased from a physical store, weighed two ounces per ball, totaling 1.1 jin (approximately 0.8 catties). The ribbed back hem was knitted six rows more than the front, resulting in a loose and comfortable finish that my daughter found exceptionally warm. Using thick needles and yarn, it only took a week to complete, allowing me to experience the joy of handcrafting.
The unique heart pattern represents the meeting of hearts, making this piece suitable for knitting couple outfits, sister outfits, or family sets. The idea of trying to knit a family outfit arose spontaneously; the thick needles and yarn increased the knitting speed, and the piece was quickly completed, filling me with a sense of accomplishment.
